Sinaleteuila is a mental health advocate, support worker, spiritual leader, and former teacher passionate about the development of women and young people in Samoa.
Prior to taking up her Australia Award, Sinaleteuila was a Learning Support Facilitator teaching literacy and numeracy to adult students at the Australia Pacific Training Coalition in Samoa. With over six years' teaching experience, Sinaleteuila has also supported secondary school students to achieve their academic potential.
In her community, Sinaleteuila is a volunteer and leader for the Global Network Discipleship and a Youth Leader for God’s Elect Ministry (GEM) Church. In this capacity, she supports women and young people participating in in-house discipleship, prayer groups, Bible studies, and spiritual retreats. Upon completion of her Australia Award, Sinaleteuila aims to lead education and awareness programs for teenage and single mothers which cultivate safe spaces and positive mental health.
