Simaema is a research and business consultant dedicated to advancing inclusive economic growth through private sector development. Since 2010, she has been developing skills in sales, broadcasting, social media, program coordination, research, business management, and advisory services.
While working as a Membership and Services Officer and Business Service Manager for the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Simaema witnessed firsthand the value of targeted business support and progressive policies to unlock potential and sustain growth.
Simaema is deeply passionate about community development and founded a women's organisation in her community with the goal of connecting rural women entrepreneurs to economic opportunities. Through the organisation, women enhance their skills, improve financial literacy, and promote informal business.
Simaema holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in International Business and Marketing and Public Administration and Management, from The University of the South Pacific.
