Farive is a registered engineer, experienced project manager, and board member eager to boost development in PNG by improving access to healthcare, education, and sustainable agriculture. She is passionate about empowering communities, especially women and young people, with the skills and resources they need to thrive.
Skilled in risk management and regulatory compliance, Farive possesses broad knowledge of public policy and a track record for delivering infrastructure projects valued at over $US 13 million. She was instrumental in upgrading aircraft communication, navigation, and surveillance (CNS) systems for NiuSky Pacific Ltd, the aviation entity responsible for air navigation services in PNG. She has also gained professional experience and networks in Australia, collaborating on infrastructure projects for the Queensland Government.
Farive is also an entrepreneur, Chair of the Board for a small business in PNG, and a volunteer teacher for various church and community groups. She holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Queensland.
